Our latest project
A Public Private Partnership (PPP) agreement between GIZ-Empowering Youth in Agribusiness (EYA!) Project and AWILI that will see many women and youth smallholder farmers transform their socio-economic profile through Chilies Value Chain in Malawi.

Empowering rural women farmers across Malawi
Providing certified and improved agro-inputs on loan to rural women farmers who are usually considered “unbankable” in a bid to improve their productivity.
Interface Meeting With the Minister
AWILI de-brief meeting with the Minister of Agriculture Hon. Lobin Lowe-MP (Left) and Deputy Minister Hon. Agnes Nkusankhoma (Third from Left)

Our Model
AWILI deliberately targets women and youth by providing seed capital in-form of improved farm inputs (as opposed to cash) at much fairer interest rates (paid back in kind).

OUR CORE VALUES
Our Core Values are integrity, innovation, passion and equality. These values are the foundation of Agwenda’s work ethics and culture in fulfilling our responsibilities with the communities we support:
LOAN APPLICATION
We support women farmers with improved agro-inputs on loan paid back in kind in a bid to improve productivity, food security and incomes

C.A.T PROJECT
AWILI has partnered with the Centre for Agricultural Transformation (ATI) for 2 years to transform more “unbankable” rural women farmers.
The stated aim of CAT is to support smallholder Malawian farmers in diversifying their incomes and livelihoods to reduce their reliance on tobacco farming.
WORK WITH US
